The concept of Unmute in based on the fascination for the power of word of Amy Winehouse and Nelson Mandela. Nelson Mandela fought for what he believed in, no matter what the consequences might be. Amy winehouse used her music to express her feelings and thoughts.
Unmute is giving the wearer the possibility of speaking a language that only the wearer understands. The brand wants to emphasize sound can have more options than just being heard. By making use of the phenomenon synesthesia, we are giving sound more than one dimension.
Synesthesia means the twist of senses, such as seeing sound or hearing color. We are creating a new visual language by translating sound into color and design. Not only words, but also sounds of lifestyle are our tool to express personality within our designs.
